Microsoft has released SilverLight 2.0 I still think SilverLight is an interesting technology that is worthy of consideration, and as a developer I believe in at least understanding technologies even if I do not see an immediate use for it and it is always good to have more than one option for any given development

Is it time for Open Beta Windows & OS-X?

I have given this some thought and have started to wonder if the respective companies would benefit from Open BETA’s and my conclusion is yes for the following reasons, Far less bugs to be worked out when they hit the shelves. User feedback always makes for a better product. Get the user hooked before release.
